This is a winnable game but X doesn't have a lot of room for error against good teams. X must play with high energy on D. Limit Nova's dribble penetration and cuts to the rim. Stay on shooters. On offense, X must avoid turnovers and limit bad shots. Get after loose balls and rebounds.

X should have won the first meeting in Philly - too many mistakes. They need this to be in the hunt for the tournament. Nova also needs this game so we should expect them to bring the intensity.

Villlanova making us play half court offense and that is not our strength as we all know. We had a chance to jumpoff to a big lead when V was missing early in the firt half but so were we (CLaude). It will be a fog fight but we need to get our break off again.

Tough first half offensively. Villanova is smothering Olivari. I'm not sure why everyone doesn't play zone against us. Claude really had a tough half. Not sure why Claude continues to shoot three point shots? We are not moving fast enough on offense with both our feet and passing. Need McKnight to get going and Claude too. This might be our season. Ugly first half.

Abou is the star. His defense as outstanding toward th end and at the end of the game. Block shot and played outside to keep Dixon from shooting the three point shot.
