Sporting News last Mock NBA Draft dated June 21, 2023 prediction prediction has Colby Jones going 23rd in the first round.

Most Mock Drafts predictions have CJ as a late first rounder or an early second round pick....of course 2nd rounders usually get no guaranteed monies or no guaranteed contracts....most of the time.

Well 23rd was wrong and so was 24 and 25. Hope we can see his name soon

Colby went to Charlotte. Their top three scorers are guards and all average over 20 points a game. I think he can play on any team but he has a lot of high scores ahead of him. Maybe Charlotte is planning on making some trades. Anyways I am happy for him and hope he gets a fair shot. If they give him a chance he will be fine.

When the dust all settled, he ended up In Sacramento. For those that don’t know….the Sacramento franchise came from Kansas City…..the Kansas City franchise came from Cincinnati….the Cincinnati franchise came from Rochester, NY.

So Colby is now a Rochester/Cincinnati Royal and a Kansas City/Sacramento King.

SAC has about 12 guards on their total roster at the moment...not sure what that means for CJ first year...may be sent down to the development league or traded?

Sacramento is a good fit for Colby. Fox is the guy there and gets 33 minutes a game .Huerter plays 32 minutes a game and is their 3 point guy. Colby is a better all round player than Huerter . Monk gets a lot of time too. I think Colby will play a lot for them. He needs to be aggressive on offense. They have a pretty good team and I think he will help them a lot.
