Des Claude get to know him

Postby muskieman » Wed Sep 28, 2022 10:37 pm

I asked a ref if he could give me a technical foul for thinking bad things about him. He said, of course not. I said, well, I think you stink. And he gave me a technical. You can't trust em.

Thanks MM. That was cool and I had not seen it yet. Two things I liked. First he was composed and thoughtful with his answers and made solid eye contact with Goodman throughout the interview. Second - dude seems ripped and very solid for a 6-5 athletic Frosh guard.

he doesn't look like our normal gangly freshman. Souley is a couple of inches smaller but appears slighter compared to Des. But Souley appears to be trying to bulk up.

I have heard really good things about Claude so far, which is not typical for a frosh. I didn't realize he is 6'5", which we will need since Souley is not necessary a true PG.

Seems like the typical, articulate and thoughtful X recruit. Miller said he is a legitimate PG. X has never had one at 6'5." Unlike last year's coach, I think Miller will work him into the lineup before the 2nd last game in BE play.

I hope Des is the answer to the big point guard and he makes the all-big east team by the end of the year.
