Jones is our most talented player. He can dribble, pass, defend, rebound and score. i think he needs to stay a couple more years to work on his offensive game. He needs more confidence. He is too unselfish . Going to the basket he can overpower most guards and wings . Needs to work on his shot. When he shoots foul shots he is moving the ball around in his hand. Definitely. a NBA player. I think he could play and start more most top 10 college teams.

This is his last year at X. However, I would be stunned if he was picked around lottery pick territory without an explosive first step, being only an above-average ball handler and being an average shooter at best. Great glue guy and a high-IQ player. He is also a very good rebounder and defender. I can see him as a 15–20-minute player in the NBA, but he must improve his shooting.

If CJ is drafted or can be drafted leave for the NBA period. Most players drafted in to the NBA these days are NOT juniors or seniors...they are freshmen, sophomores, or foreign players. Staying 3 or 4 years at any college means a player is less likely to be drafted.

Also, the level of coaching in the NBA is so much better. Even if he's drafted in the second round it would be better for him to go. Not for X, but for him. Just look at how much better Naji got in his first year with the Pelicans. Of course, I can't name a single player that improved under Travis Steele, so have to give Sean some time. His first tenure here was distinguished by player who got a lot better - BJ Raymond went from "Why did we recruit him?" to all conference.

Colby has great basketball IQ and all around talent. Unless he is a dramatically improved scorer, he should not become more selfish offensively. What makes him great is his offensive efficiency and overall understanding of the game. He is a good defender and very good rebounder. He would be a great addition to any team so he should get drafted but I wouldn't be shocked if he was passed over.

If it is believed he will be drafted, he should declare after the season. NBA prefers to get them when they are young. He can always go back to school once his basketball career is over. The primary reason to not declare would be if his draft status is uncertain or he has unfinished business at X and is fine building a career oversees after graduation. The life experience playing professionally overseas is a nice bonus.
