The final round is on CBS from 2pm to 7pm.....Kokrak starts at 2pm, thus he may may be on tv a lot if if he plays well.

Hope you are right, but if the first three days are any indication, Tiger Woods has sucked the air out of proper coverage.Xavier2005 wrote: ↑Sat Apr 09, 2022 8:13 pmThe final round is on CBS from 2pm to 7pm.....Kokrak starts at 2pm, thus he may may be on tv a lot if if he plays well.
One can appreciate Tiger’s effort toward recovery to return to competitive golf and still call out the limited coverage ESPN, CBS and Sirius/Masters have provided to the rest of the field. Unfortunately, each have all but completely ignored almost all other players other than the top 4-5 leaders and Tiger.
Kokrak is tied with Dustin, Morikawa, Rory and Fleetwood. Great company! How much TV or radio coverage did those five receive today during the Masters? Dustin received a little.
No doubt, Tiger is a major story. That said, the coverage is contrary to growing the game. Plenty of younger faces, current and future stars hitting great shots, have been ignored. Heck, I am pleased Tiger can play again, but the story has been far overdone. Hoping CBS, ESPN and Sirius/ Masters prove me wrong on Sunday.
Go Jason!

agree Woods coverage in the Masters is and was over done. Woods is toast, he is done as a consistent top competitor and may be done as any competitor in the future. Pro golf is trying to suck the last bit of Woods blood and life to help overall Golf survive because Golf at this point is a dying sport. More golf courses close each year than open. There is no real new generation of public golfers...it is a dying sport.

As of Sunday April 10th, at 2:15pm Woods is about 20 plus shots behind the leader at the Masters. The Masters will be on for about another 5 hours. I expect The Masters people/and TV will be showing Woods replays and replays and replays every hour from 2pm to 7pm....not all his bad shots...just his few good shots. Forget all the leaders in the tournament, they want the audience to see Woods...even if he is totally out of the Tournament. They would not show any other golfer playing badly , but they will show Woods over and over.

Finished 1 over today and +2 for the tourney…not bad at all. Looks like he will drop a few spots and finish in 14th.

Best finish in a major tournament. Previous best was T-17 in US Open in 2020.

Re: Kokrak tied for 9th at The Masters this week
Not to rain on Kokrak's parade, but does anyone not seem concerned to all the reports linking Kokrak to the new Saudi golf league? At least a few posters who seem morally outraged at us hiring Miller back, surely must be concerned about this? IMHO, being linked to the Saudi's is far worse or creates more moral inambiguity(sp?) than the recruiting violations incurred by his top assistants while at AZ.
