Classy move by Steele to not start Stanley. Free killing X again. Two TOs, and is responsible for GTown's last three baskets. Gave up a wide open three, then left his man to drive it for a lab. To ca p of a horrible first four minutes, he turns it over, and fouls for the And One.

Re: Game Thread
Kunkel is sizzling, Free is not (on cue just made another WTF foul), and Steele subs Free in. Mind you GTown is playing small ball. If anyone can screw this game up, it's Steele.

Re: Game Thread
GTown ain't 0-18 in the BE for a reason. I think Edwards will come out late after halftime, b/c he certainly must be taking in oxygen. Hopefully, both he and Miles get real time. Up 24 is a good time to groom players for the BE tourney, and for next year (assuming Edwards hangs around). Best half of the year.Xavier2005 wrote: ↑Sat Mar 05, 2022 8:16 pmonly one question. Re: Game Thread
X up 22 with 12 to go.....against GTown........and yet no Stanley or Miles............and Edwards gets four trips down to the court.........Steele prepares for four moves behind him. I just hope he says right and war in his postgame presser. He doesn't say those words enough.X-lucidity wrote: ↑Sat Mar 05, 2022 8:45 pmYou were right: G-Town is BBBBBAAAAADDDDD.....! Goodness

Up 20+ with three minutes and change, and no Stanley or Miles. Stay classy Steele. Just add one more reason to make the move.

Re: Game Thread
Nothing is better than a X team when Nate Johnson is en fuego

I asked a ref if he could give me a technical foul for thinking bad things about him. He said, of course not. I said, well, I think you stink. And he gave me a technical. You can't trust em.

Re: Game Thread
I know it was against GTown, but X still played very well. Edwards continues to show he is the four of the future, and even could play a much bigger role in the present. Happy for Nate, and for Paul's decent 2nd half. One thing for sure: X is a lot more efficient when Colby runs point, and attacks the rim instead of dribbling underneath the basket. I know I'm too much homerand not enough anti, but X will win two in MSG.
