Only one man after becoming a head coach for his first time in men's NCAA college Basketball has won a men's National NCAA Basketball Title without losing any games. Who is it?

yes, you were close...Steve Fisher (no c ) 6-0 his first year as a Head coach for Michigan. Michigan fired their head coach before going in to the NCAA Tournament and Fisher won all 6 games and the National Title. The only NCAA Head Coach in his first year as Head Coach to go undefeated and win the National Title the same year.

more trivia....no. 3 seed Michigan with Fisher as Head coach/his first game ever as a Head coach beat no. 14 seed Xavier by 5 points in the first round. Michigan beat Seton Hall in overtime to win the National Title.

that was a game of attrition and X didn't have enough big men. I was there 3rd row from the floor T Hill did everything he could but only had 5 fouls
