Michigan Wisconsin brawl

Postby muskieman » Sun Feb 20, 2022 3:54 pm

This ought to put the UC/X brawl on the back burner as the Michigan coach takes a swing at one of Badger coaches, a weak slap but started a brawl. And the announcer talking about how ugly is was but still showing the brawl.

I asked a ref if he could give me a technical foul for thinking bad things about him. He said, of course not. I said, well, I think you stink. And he gave me a technical. You can't trust em.

Howard gonna get at least rest of season suspension. possibly conf tourney and maybe just ends up fired after the season. i'm guessing the prez and AD are looking at what his buyout is right now.

if this was his FIRST incident then i'd say he may get a pass but there's been 3 or 4 before this.

Actually,

He has only had another incident with Turgeon of Maryland but being one of the instigators of two bench-clearing brawls is a very bad look. Especially when you have been a CBB for less than two years. I too thought it should have been the rest of the games and the B10 tourney. Gard of Wisconsin should have been suspended for two games for putting his hands on him as well. I know it wasn't a violent grab, but he was a minority contributor to the escalation.

Take a Close look. Howard grabbed Coach Gard with two hands as well at his chest. Not sure if it matters but both grabbed each other, not sure who was first. FWIW. Biggernlife

XU UC Brawl was a player issue. Right or Wrong 20 year olds dont have the sense that an adult, should have. ( nor did MICK )
Players mess up, but a coach at this level, sickens me. This was a minor issue, and Howard made it a major issue.
He is not deserving to be a coach in the big ten. This is not what a COACH should be teaching his players.
