Seton Hall game thread 2/9/22

Postby muskieman » Wed Feb 09, 2022 6:28 pm

7 PM
Fox Sports 1 with Tim Brando and Bill Raftery

55 KRC

Zach with his hometown fans present normally plays well and X needs it tonight because Seton Hall had a big rim protector one os the best in the BE. X better be physical tonight to have a chance and the 3 point shot has to fall from Nate and Adam
I asked a ref if he could give me a technical foul for thinking bad things about him. He said, of course not. I said, well, I think you stink. And he gave me a technical. You can't trust em.

Free has to be one of the softer bigs ever and we have no one else. Our 3 point shooting is horrible. This is a hard team to watch.

This is horrible basketball and bad lineups. Steele has no answer develop a big or put in Edwards

Free-Bluiett was 0-4, getting thrown around like a rag doll with one rebound. Give him a break!

And Hunter grads the ball on line? This team needs a shrink and a coach

Where are all the jock sniffers now? I’ve seen better offense and coaching at the Y?

Free inexplicably leaves his man for a wide-open three. He'll probably see a lot of pine, mucj like Johnson, and other players exiled for defensive lapses. I hope X can adjust. They are not accustomed to coming out flat and going into the locker room with a big deficit. I sense a Creighton-like comeback.

Edit: Sorry, my mistake. Free has no rebounds, but has only played 15 minutes.

Do you really think Edwards is the answer? You claim to have played the game but your analysis is just desperate not knowledgeable. The team is playing hard but Nate is still not a factor and the rebounding is told by the size of the SH players. 10 O rebounds are all contested and many lucky bounces. 7'2" 280 lbs guys are hard to box out

For once, I would love to hear what you think the answer is? All you do is defend the head coach.

Wow!

What kind of shot was that from Free?

1st half line: 17 min, 0-5 including one which looked like he was having an epileptic seizure, 1 rebound, 1 steal 1 block, 1 assist, 1 T.O. I feel sorry for him. While sitting on six phone books during his pre-game presser, Steele said paraphrasing, "You want playing time? You better produce on the court." Free might as well put his dress clothes back on. I suspect his night is over. I guess we can see if 6'11" Miles fares better on defense and on the boards. Can't do any worse. Oh well. Steele is a man of his words, and players know it, so they have to accept the consequences. Players just aren't listening to him for some reason.
