Dismissed Ex-Coaches

Xavier’s last 2 head coaches, Sean Miller & Chris Mack, have both been dismissed by their next employer. Is this merely a coincidence or has there been similar conduct by these coaches that explains why this happened?
When they left X for the higher profile programs did the heightened expectations & demands cause the two to exceed the bounds of the rules in order to recruit the best prospects?
When at Xavier did these coaches not break the rules because the administration had made it clear that such transgressions would result in termination for cause? Or were they simply very lucky in not getting caught?
Is the reality of the highly competitive nature of big time fueled by the lucrative revenue at stake cause coaches to push the limits of NCAA recruiting rules?

I suspect that there was some minor transgressions during their time at X, but you can probably say the same for almost any coach in college. The NCAA rule book is to large and to complex to be followed 100% by anyone. However, I think that the pressure to win, and win BIG, at schools like L-ville and Zona, pushes coaches to outright cheat. The leagues that they play in force coaches in those leagues to do things that they might otherwise not do. It’s just keeping up with the Jones. If you’re not cheating, you’re not competing. If you’re not competing, you’ll soon be out of a job.

I'm living in LSU country as you all already know. Our flagship school LSU is all about football as is the fan base. Will Wade shows up as the new basketball coach to revive a middle of the road program. Guess what? He comes in here and starts recruiting with the big boys right away. This coming class has 2 five stars, one from Az another Mo. I hope its his personality allowing him to recruit at this level ? He has already been cought in a taped phone conversation offering big bucks to a recruit. To date the NCAA has not acted. These jobs have much pressure as mentioned in a previous post!!
