Xavier is the better team and program. But DePaul is a good team...if given the opportunity they can beat anyone. X must take command.

I haven't seen DePaul play one minute this year, but their resume is pretty weak. They did beat a very good Seton Hall team as their sole good win, but lost to a horrendous Butler team, and to a good Providence team by 17 at home. KPom's projected 9 point win by X is a large margin on the road. I don't trust one singular metric source but even Vegas has X as an 8 point favorite, and they look at more metrics than anyone. Even my algorithm has X winning 79-72 after 10,000 simulations. If they minimize both traditional and and non-traditional (bad shots, especially treys by poor three point shooters) turnovers, and win the battle of the boards, X will prevail.

Apparently, Depaul's best player, Freeman-Liberty is out. AH's $1.00 wager is looking better and better.

X hasn't covered in three games, so 8 points is a lot on the road.

Settling for 3's and poor D, not a good start

Neither he nor Hunter were playing D, so one had to stay in.

Free inexplicably left his man and doubled on on the guy Scruggs was guarding, and the guy Free left made a wide open three.
