Kelsy
I attended College of Charlston v Tulane game here in NOLA last night. C of C pulled away in the second half after trailing by I believe 3 at the half. Did it with Defense and they got hot from the three. I believe Tulane wore down. Tulane coached by Ron Hunter looked really ragged in 2nd half. But , what I want to say is I sat directly behind C of C's bench. I have NEVER witnessed a more animated, focused, energetic staff. Kelsy is a trip to watch....his eyes light up , emotions on his sleeve and his assistants basically the same. They (like 5 coaches) were yelling constant instructions to players from the opening tip to the final gun. He and his staff interact at an insane pace with each other as well as with the team.. He is really an A+ personality. I believe if he performs at this job like he did at Winthrop he will be in demand for a big position.

Pat was a great guy in school. Intelligent, kind and hard working. He certainly always brought energy on the court.

Re: Kelsy
I heard him do an interview on one of the national sport talk radio programs last year. He sounded great, engaging and funny. I was very impressed. That doesn't mean I think that he would be a great coach at X, but I certainly think that he would be someone for any upper-level program to take a serious look at.

Great coach, probably would have been a better choice than Steele. Too bad he had to leave X but there were some other things involved.
