Anyone watch Iowa state tonight
You know that team some said would amount to much this year because they only won two games last year? They now have a another scalp this year taking down Creighton at CU and remain undefeated. Iowa state lead the whole second half and held CU under 60. Anyone want to retract their comments
I asked a ref if he could give me a technical foul for thinking bad things about him. He said, of course not. I said, well, I think you stink. And he gave me a technical. You can't trust em.

no retraction here. i said after they destroyed Memphis that they are a tournament team and that loss won't matter at all at the end of the season.
i did watch a bit of that game vs Creighton. they are GOOD.
that coach should be #1 on all "Coach of the Year" ballots right now and it's not even close.

I watched, and I thought their D was outstanding. They were glued to their man and the ball. Jays players couldn't breathe. I actually believe
they were better defensively then when they played us. Don't have a replay of our game to watch and don't have any metrics, but it sure seemed like some of the best defense I've seen all year so far.

As of beating Creighton, they are now a quadrant 1 loss for us in both NET and RPI. If we can take care of business with Ball State, UC, and Morehead State, we will be in great position going into conference play.
Let's March!

I think Iowa St will safely remain as a Quad One loss, but am not so sure about Va Tech and Okl St. Both have three losses, and both have at least one bad one as well. Fortunately, the ACC is not very good this year.

Watched Nova vs Syracuse last night. Both teams shooting crazy 3's all over the place. Make our guys look conservative.

I watched the same thing last and many 3's were bad shots. Nova finally got comfortable and pulled away. It seems some of these Nova players will every never leave the program, but my friends say the same about Scruggs

Agreed, edgecliff hall wrote: ↑Wed Dec 08, 2021 7:01 amWatched Nova vs Syracuse last night. Both teams shooting crazy 3's all over the place. Make our guys look conservative.
Based on the stats of the game as I hardly watched any of it, I will say this: Nova shoots 40% from 3 and Syracuse 36-37%. Bad threes are never a good thing but based on those percentages, shooting a voluminous number seems more warranted, especially if their best three-point shooters take the lion's share.
