Didn't realize he was up for a Big Ten job. Seems like an underwhelming hire, but agree with MM about getting a seasoned asst.

Maybe he'll hire Murray. My guess is Gaudio goes back to announcing and studio work.

cue all the people on here "Steele needs a Phil Martelli type guy on the bench with him" smh. just how many of those types of guys are out there looking to be assts at a program like Xavier? Dino would be great, but as stated on here, probably gonna go back to being an analyst/announcer on TV.
Reggie Butler put out on Twitter one name and i think it would be awesome: James Posey. Has experience coaching in the NBA and obviously, an alum.
Murray ain't comin' back. his name has been talked about as being ready for his own head coaching gig so he's not coming back to X.

Love for Posey to come back but doubt it will happen. If X wanted to delve into the past think of the guys they could talk to or maybe get as an assistant. Whoever it is I hope he can help the big guy's return X to "power forward university"
