BE Tournament an "in" or "out" for X

Xavier is basically on the outside of March Madness now and can only get in to March Madness by performing well in the BE tournament. Some projected MM Brackets have lowered the number of BE teams in to MM from 5 to 4 to now no more than 3 teams. X will not be among the top 3 teams from the BE , unless they win the whole BE tournament. X could be the 4th team from the BE, if they get to the final BE tournament game.

majority of bracketologists have Xavier as a "last 4 IN" right now. a win vs Butler and a good showing/win vs Creighton puts us squarely IN the tourney (i believe), barring any major bubbles winning their conference tournaments.

that's what i've seen as recently as today.

we shall see. i think beat Butler and Creighton and i won't be sweating on sunday at all.

For those eternal optimists, who still believe the crap about X still being on that "last four in" line, perish that thought. Syracuse just punched their ticket as will so many more who sit on that precarious bubble-line. X must get past this Butler nuisance, then add one more quality win over Creighton. Now I will be rooting for that very thing, but the odds are steeper than a climb up the Matterhorn....

Xavier as of Selection Sunday : X played Feb. and March and the BE tournament so badly that as of Selection Sunday morning they are NOT on the Bubble!!!! They are not among the last 8 teams in nor are they among the last 8 teams out...X is just plain OUT!!! However, Georgetown is IN and UC plays Sunday with a slight chance to be in MM , if they win today! That is why they call it March Madness!!!!!
