Winners of the last 3-4 games highlighted by their win over Seton Hall Georgetown comes into their home game an underdog to X. Must win for X. Georgetown is a physical team and big with Jahvon Blair their leading scorer and assist at 15.8 points and 4.3 assists along with 6' 11' 237 lbs Qudus Wahab leader 8.1 rebounds and 11.8 points. GT plays Jamorko Pickett at 6'9" who chips in 12 pts and 8 rebounds. GT leads the Big East in rebounds with 37.1 just ahead of X's 5.3 average GT has 705 rebounds to Xs 636.

this game scares me more than Marquette. have to find a way to come with the urgency/intensity we did vs Creighton at home.

win the battle on the boards. shoot well from 3. take care of the ball. defend their size in the post.

Watching a few GT games I notice that in many of the games they came out hot but were beaten in the second half. X needs to make sure they do not have a big deficit in the first half. X is ranked 70 and GT 78 in defense while X is 43 and GT is 118 in their offense.

And once again Carter and Free 0/3 when neither should be shooting 3’. Carter is providing nothing on offense but keeps playing. I have little faith in winning two straight road games with our offense

I’ve seen this show too many times this year. This team isn’t built for double digit comebacks. Pray I’m wrong afraid I’m not.

Pickett, Blair and their big are better than any three we have besides maybe Scruggs. The Carter experiment should be over he doesn’t box out
