Nate Johnson 3

Really liked the Nate Johnson 3 at the end of the first half. That was a Trevon or JP shot. You have a wide open look and you are shooting over 35% from 3 and you take it. I don’t understand the need to pull it out at the end of the first half and wind down the clock and take a contested, bad shot. Why are all the teams afraid to give the other team a last shot. Momentum? Does not make sense.
I’d give that shot to Kunkel, Tandy, Scruggs and Freemantle right now. Jones and Wilcher in a few more games. I would suspect that anyone shooting over 35% on 3’s is actually shooting closer to 50% when it is wide open and uncontested. Villanova and Creighton definitely have that philosophy and we are looking more and more like that is our offense.
