Dan Dakich has Covid
Which is why he did his color commentary of the Shootout from his basement.

Normally, I like Dan but for the shootout forget it. The two announcers were more interested at times in what one guy was wearing or pontificating on Dick Vital. I came to watch the shootout not them and their self-promotion and inane discussion were terrible, adding nothing to the broadcast. Bad enough the first part of the game was cut off because ESPN sandwiched too many games together.
I asked a ref if he could give me a technical foul for thinking bad things about him. He said, of course not. I said, well, I think you stink. And he gave me a technical. You can't trust em.

Dakich just LOVES to hear himself talk.
