Putting things in perspective
XU has played 4 games in 6 days. Eight players are available. XU is scoring at 82 points a game and giving up 67 points. I know the Oakland was an a fluke but look at the other games. the starting five are averaging from 33 minutes to 37 minutes a game. Our starting lineup has 2 sophs, two seniors, and a grad senior. Off the bench we have a div2 transfer, a redshirt freshman, and a freshman guard. THAT is it. XU is 4 and 0 and I think that is good under the circumstances. Wilcher and Jones will not only add depth but also more bodies. I think that Bradley, EKU, amd Toledo were better than expected but being short handed made the games closer than expected. All in all let us be glad we our undefeated. Go Xavier!

Well said, 41, but what jumps out as I read this is that the relief squad is two more freshmen. No doubt the NCAA really screwed us by denying Stanley this year, but we have to deal with the hand we are dealt. I am counting Ramsey out and if he does play he is no better than a freshman in experience. So we are still only ten deep at full strength. I better get the beads out.jct1941 wrote: ↑Tue Dec 01, 2020 6:58 pmXU has played 4 games in 6 days. Eight players are available. XU is scoring at 82 points a game and giving up 67 points.
