I can say I have have never seen anything like it. And that guy Li Ning is crazy. You couldn't get me to do that lighting for all the money in the world. Li Ning held the torch aloft as he was lifted hundreds of feet above the ground on ropes. elegant opening ceremonies...

I'm an Oly junkie, and Ive gotta admit I watched the Eventing dressage on Saturday AM, and will be tuning in on the cross country, which has to be the most dangerous oly sport. Last year there were over 30 deaths...and that's just the riders. Whoa, that's scary exciting. If you have never seen the jumps they do, tune it in.

Can't wait for T&F to start Thursday.

I DVR most of yesterdays so I could watch the US basketball game which was very good. China is making strides and if Yao would not have gotten hurt last year and nicked up in this game maybe China would have had a chance to keep it close. I only caught a part of women's gymnastics, actually only the Chinese women...or should I say kids. I know I am old but if those girls are 16 and over then my 11 month old(in 5 days) is actually 12.


most of the stuff bores me but I like the martial arts.
