MM Inactivity
Is it just me, or is this chatboard inactive? Its last entry was the 17th...we normally see several a day, or at least, entries frequently...usually, every other day or so. What is up? Has the COVID got everyone spooked? Miss my MM. What say you?

Re: MM Inactivity
I guess the board is pretty inactive when one of our players, albeit Myles Hanson, enters the transfer portal and no one here says anything,

Re: MM Inactivity
behind the scenes I have been fighting the fight against Hackers. We have in place an acceptance a step for a first post to stop malicious spam. Last week approximately 30-40 posts and posters were banned and deleted before they could clough the basketball and other pages. Sorry if I have not been up on news
Xavier is working on a plan to offer its hoops players safe access to its facilities.
BTW Zach Hankins has found his next team in Israel and Tyrique Jones has hired an agent and is working out in Las Vegas with Impact Basketball Academy.

I asked a ref if he could give me a technical foul for thinking bad things about him. He said, of course not. I said, well, I think you stink. And he gave me a technical. You can't trust em.

Hi Muskieman, good to hear from you. I'm interested to know how you go about stopping spam, and other undesirables. I'm sure many of our posters would also like to know more. Thanks for all you do to serve and protect our XUMM.

Thought there must be a reason...other than "what is there to talk about?" As I have come on here before, certainly not living through a virus, but when it REALLY seemed like there wasn't much going on, but members found issues, stories, anecdotes, player profiles, recruiting news, etc. Going a week with nothing seemed an eternity.

Re: MM Inactivity
Normally we get a few spam threads or post within threads from new posters but we have a process so when new posters come to the board their first post or thread is read by a moderator, normally me. We then need to determine if they are vicious, annoying, or a new poster. If they are the first two we need to make sure they cannot come back and then delete the post/thread itself. Most are trying to sell you something and some are porn or phishing scams. I like the ones from Russia etc, although I have become tired of reading some of the long-winded ones, because they read like that Prince in Uganda that wants to give me billions because I am heir to someone from their country. One day about a week ago I had 20+ on a number of the pages every time I opened the site.edgecliff hall wrote: ↑Sun May 24, 2020 1:05 pmHi Muskieman, good to hear from you. Ok, now who is this Prince from Uganda? I could use the money.
