How in the world does this guy exclude Derrick Brown from his list? That alone makes me not even take this guy seriously at all.
He mentions Chris Wright and a high FG% and high dunk numbers for next year, but Derrick Brown always shoots a high percentage and always has more dunks that anyone in the league. Brown will also score more and rebound better than last year.
The internet allows anyone to make a list and put their opinion out there.

There are projections. But projections are only good for selling magazines and for online viewership. This internet rater just took a couple guesses on who was good in the A10. I would not put much stock in his rankings.
I would seriously read The Sporting News, ESPN, and Dustin Dow's rankings.
Everyone else is a internet hack/whore.

Show me were those places had a 100% or 90% correct ranking from the first to the last poll and then I will believe them more than others sites. It is all just opinions and everyone has one. If you like one guy you might believe him more but none are objective.

No writer or publication is 100% or 90% correct. You are right. Everyone has opinions. I choose to put more weight in writers/publications with coaches, personal NCAA experience, and/or word of mouth through friends that agree that a writer/publication is not stupid or blind with bias.

(1) Guys, it's the offseason, so any Xavier or A10-related articles are about the only news we have to discuss.
(2) NOBODY'S predictions are 100% accurate; they're just somebody's best guess. Again, it's just an item to discuss, agree with, disagree with, etc., so there's no point in getting steamed over whether it's "accurate" or not. It's one guy's opinion; it may be knowledgeable, it may not. Chances are if he Brown, Anderson and Raymond in his top 10 returning players, we'd think it was a brilliant, astute article because it said nice things about OUR guys, as opposed to other team's guys.

I thought that is what we were doing! My discussion basically stated that nobody is correct so everyone has their favorite or like me none are my favorite. As for thinking he was brilliant of course we'd think he was brilliant if he agreed with our point of view...doesn't that happen with everyone? That doesn't make him brilliant on everything just that one article.
As for blind and bias I remember sporting news writer Mike Decoursey not being so brilliant when he wrote about Huggins but seemingly getting smarter when he wrote nice things about X. Just like Einstein and myself, I guess he was smart in somethings and dumb in others.

I emailed Perry Messner about this, he was the author of this article, and this is what I got from him:
I looked at
Derrick Brown very seriously but Xavier is simply not the
best place to look for fantasy college basketball. I
realize that Brown is a better player than guys like
Green, but for producing pure numbers (which is what I am
interested in as a fantasy writer), I think Green has a
better shot than Brown, whose numbers will suffer because
Xavier plays excellent team ball (which is terrible for
fantasy purposes).
I appreciate your passion for A-10 basketball and Xavier
in particular. Feel free to write me with other thoughts.

That's a valid point. How often does X have a guy averaging 20ppg, other than DW, who isn't on the roster? We tend to have several guys averaging in the 'teens.
