Marquette vs Xavier....the stats say
351 Division 1 schools approximately..in Division 1 college basketball: 3% scoring stat : Marquette ranks 6th and Xavier ranks 326th. Points scored per game: Marquette ranked 78th and Xavier ranked 211th. The only advantage X has is home court . Marquette has one of or the best scorer in the NCAA.

Re: Marquette vs Xavier....the stats say
This team is becoming very predictable and hard to watch. Why in the world is Naji guarding Howard? He doesn't have the quickness to get in front of him and either he was tired or just being lazy when Howard went on the run. Steele asks the team to not give up threes and deny easy layups and that goes on deaf ears. Rebounding is miserable and having Carter and Freemantle on the court at the same time is a disaster and we will have that lineup next year. I wish I would have taken the points and Marquette.

X needs to make Howard play D. Whomever he guards has to look to drive. The big lineup against another perimeter oriented time continues to boggle the mind.

I did give up the points, but would happily take a loss. Howard is being Howard. He had made some tough treys. The problem is letting other guys score. Having three bigs doesn't help.

As with many BE teams, they have no answer for Jones. Need to ride him. Carter needs to spend a lot of time with Mr. Pine. Moore, Q, or Kyky are much more preferable.

Gotta to call a play for Scruggs. Marshall a, Jones, or Q will make one at most at the line.

Re: Marquette vs Xavier....the stats say
appears our clock man was quick to start the clock
I asked a ref if he could give me a technical foul for thinking bad things about him. He said, of course not. I said, well, I think you stink. And he gave me a technical. You can't trust em.
