Will someone tell me what happened to Xavier's top-8 incoming class of five players?

Freemantle - very good so far. the best of this class in regards to contributing early on
Bishop - still raw but played some decent minutes vs. Wake
KyKy - still a deer in headlights but really hasn't been 100% so i'd give until mid-January before i make a true assessment
Ramsey - concussion/injuries so he hasn't been 100% at all this year.
MIles - redshirt

there ya go.

Reasonable analysis. Disappointing so far but lots of reasons why (see above). Still amazes me how kids who scored at will come into college and can't hit the ocean on what is still a ten foot basket. I know, I know it has a lot to do with the speed of the college game and the much increased level of defenders you run into. We could use them if they would develop. I will say that recently X has not had too many freshmen who are able to step right out of high school and right into the college game. The fact that we do not have any veterans who can shoot well makes the lack of production of the freshmen even more obvious.

Excellent points OSD.

I think the sample size is still too small for both Bishop and KyKy, and feel they'll both end up being good shooters. With conference play looming, it's imperative KyKy get at least 17-20 minutes a game, because they currently have no one in the starting roster who can score consistently on three levels like he can. He's only really been back for four games as well, with a total of 14 minutes in the last two. I know, I shake my head as well. Scruggs (Team MVP) can, but he needs time to get off his three, and isn't as dynamic off the dribble. Moore is also a good shooter, but can't really create. Unfortunately, Carter hasn't shown to be a perimeter threat, though I still have hopes for him. I love Marshall driving to the hole.
he's great at that! Anything outside of 10 feet, not so much. It's a combo of a lack of good shooters, and not so good shooters taking too many bad shots. KyKy MUST PLAY MORE MINUTES.
