Louisville received notice from NCAA

Louisville spokesman John Karman said: The University of Louisville received a verbal notice of inquiry from the NCAA in early March. The notice is the first step in the NCAA’s expected investigation of the basketball program.
the NCAA written notice normally follows the verbal.

I was wondering if/when more was going to happen with UL. I was hoping the impending investigation/penalty would keep Mack at X. Obviously that didn't happen, but I'm still interested to see how this develops.

We may not care what the NCAA does to Louisville, if anything, and neither should Chris Mack. If Louisville has given CMack $4 million a year times 7 years guaranteed, plus up to $500,000 a year in possible bonuses, plus more $$$ for any outside deals......why should C Mack care . He is set for life with about $28 million plus. The only thing that makes Louisville better than X is that they pay more monies to their coaches. Anyone would be crazy to turn down $28 million plus.
