Words that bring a cringe:

Child to Mom - “We have a science project due tomorrow at school.”
Unmarried Daughter to Parents - “I think I am pregnant.”
Joe Sunderman to Xavier Radio audience - “Goodin fires a three.”

That is hilarious. He isn’t even close on his threes.

Not only is he is a terrible shooter he shoots at bad times usually early in the clock.

1 turn over and 7 assists and you are complaining!

Worst kept secret in the building is that Q can't shoot treys, and your point is well made about early in the shot clock treys. He was 1 for 5 again tonight. I don't know if i've ever seen him make a step back three, yet he insists on taking them. His delusion that he will turn into a good three point shooter is perplexing, especially since he wasn't a good outside shooter in high school either. Throughout his career at X to date, he has shot well over 250 treys, and his percentage hovers around 28.5%. That includes more banked threes than the whole team combined this year.

That being said, he has proven that he could be an effective point guard. Today, he played a very good floor game, and created great shot opportunities for his teammates towards the end of the shot clock on several occassions. He had 7 assists and only one turnover (he had a pretty abysmal 1.5/1 a/t.o. ratio prior to today's game), and he needs to realize that his strength is driving to the hole, and taking a lab or dishing it out.

Castlin is a poor three point shooter, who takes good threes, and a judicious amount. Most are wide open, step in threes, and he only avg.s one a game. Thats the same formula Goodin should follow. One more thing: AH belives in Q.

Great job by the 3 seniors to step up with Naji out. Q played a solid game even if he didnt score much. Now on to MSG and let's win there
