It's "survive and advance" again tonight.
X has to win to "keep hope alive" for a tournament bid (without having to win the BET).
This game is going to be a war, IMO.
This is Butler's Super Bowl against a hated rival.
And it is Senior Night as well.
I hope X has a strong contingent of fans.
I was at Hinkle 3 years ago for the game.
Took my dad and it was the last game he and I went to before he passed away so Hinkle has a special place in my heart.
It was great day - beautiful sunny Saturday afternoon - and a great game punctuated by JP's end of game dunk.
I still have on my phone the chants of "let's go X" from the Xavier fans that were there.

One interesting stat to follow tonight -
Butler in conference play is 6-1 in games where they have 10 or more 3's.
In games where they have made less than 10 3's they are 0-9.
In their wins they have shot an average of 27 3's and 25 in their losses so the shot attempts are pretty comparable in wins and losses.
Hope X's D continues to be stellar and BU doesn't get hot from 3.

maybe good defense against BU's 3s would help....1. reduce the number taken by BU or 2. arms and hands in the face of any 3 taken/without fouling

Scruggs has been the best player so far.
