Win out reg. season , 1-2 BE Tourn...bubble or in?

Is it possible?? Yes or maybe? It appears that if if X wins their remaining regular season games and wins 1 to 2 BE tournament games....X may be on the Bubble or in the NCAA tournament?? Is it possible? X's NCAA Net ranking is around 84...St John and Butler are higher rated than X...winning those 3 games would move X close to the Bubble # teams, then the BE Tournament games decides whether in or out? Kinda hard to believe X loses 6 straight games and maybe still capable to make The Dance , if they win out.

hard not to at least imagine or think about this scenario, especially the way they've played the last 4 games. they truly were "left for dead". i think the biggest upside to winning out is to NOT have to play a wednesday game in the BE tourney (although i don't think we have to win out to finish top 6)
however, none of this matters if we don't win Thursday, so yes, imagining this scenario happening is at least fun to think about, considering where we were 2 weeks ago, but let's start with winning at SJU this thursday, which i think will be harder than winning at Butler.
for sake of the argument - if we win out and win 2 BE games, i think we are IN (mainly because if we won 5 in a row, at least 4 of them are almost guaranteed to be Q1 wins.
here's to hoping.

I think the scenario laid out in this thread puts us squarely on the bubble, and if a few things break our way we may find ourselves dancing.
I do agree, that ultimately the goal should be to avoid the first round game in the BE and position ourselves as strongly as possible for a magical three game ride in NY.

At this point, I hope they can win their last BE games and then let see what happens in the Tourney.

Don't see X getting in without winning the tourney even if they only lose in tourney. 14 losses would be the most losses for any team in the tourney as an at large. Not to mention BE is not great this year. If X wins out regular season and makes it to final by beating (Nova or Marq), that would only give them three more Q1 wins and 1 or 2 Q2 wins. Going into Thur game X is 2-8 in Q1 games. They have looked great in last four but bad previous six. Love to see it but doubt it. All I know is that the future seems bright

Still a long shot.Need to get 20 wins which means winning thru til the BE championship.A few too many quad 3 losses could be their achilles heal.

The lack of quality wins means they have to win the BE tourney, imo. Ironically, they have better wins then the team in Clifton Heights, who is safely in. The joys on playing in a mid-major league. I admit I admire Cumberland. Great player, and seemingly a really good kid.

Good thing there wasn't enough evidence on this "robbery" a couple of summers ago or maybe not a "seemingly good kid"

i'm guessing maybe a robbery where he was a "suspect" but they couldn't find enough to charge him? not sure.
can't really remember anything coming out on this.
