X is in an extended version of the NCAA Tournament at present.
Each game is a survive and advance.
If they would win out, they would most likely finish alone in 3rd place in the BE at 10-8.
And a win in the BET would put them in the Tournament.

Need Scruggs to play better today.
He's been in funk the last 3 games -
2 for 8 from 2
1 for 4 from 3
3 for 6 from the line
13 assists and 14 TO''s

I've been critical of Marshall's play this year but he has certainly shot better the last 3 games -
12 for 28 from 3 - 43%. He has raised his season avg now to 28.5%
14-28 from 2 which is slightly better than his season aver of 49%.

But X has to play to their strength which is their post play.
Jones has averaged 16 pts and 11 boards in his last 3 games and shooting 66% from the field
And Hankins has avg 11 pts and 5 boards and is shooting 61% from the field.
And they are shooting a better from the line - 70% combined for the last 3 games.

Nova has been in a team shooting slump from 3.
5 of their last 6 games they have shot 31% or less from 3.
Have lost 3 of those games.
And they have lost 2 straight in conference play for the 1st time since the new BE.

Better than 50% of their shots are from beyond the arch. If they can't hit them today I look for a win by X.

1st game against Nova was the last game X had less than 10 TO's in a game.
Since then 8 straight games with 10+ TO's
Need to replicate again today and hope Nova continues to shoot in the low 30's or less from 3.

The less Goodin shoots the better it is for X.
The best line from him is zero FG attempts.
