As many here say the refs don't decide the games

Refs do not decide games....so true..unless they are paid well enough to get a $$$$ outcome for certain bettors......bettors do sometimes buy refs and or players and or coaches to get the right outcome for some bets....not most , but a few.

Agreed.
But then what can be said for the Chiefs?

Absolutely agree that one play does not determine the outcome. there are penalties called and not called throughout the entire game. this one just happened to be at the end. Watching NFL this year is tough in close games. Refs are farily consistent for 3 and a half quarters but in close games, there seems to be several penalties called that were not called earlier in the game. You can always count on at least one holding and PI in last drive when teams are coming back. In any event, this couldn't have happened to a classier team in the Saints. I'm guessing Peyton may target that ref and some players can get a "bonus" to hurt him like he did several years back.

Can we agree if the penalty "was called" the Saints are in the Super Bowl?? We(Saints) would have had a first down on the 6 yard line with 1:42 remaining and the Rams with one time out left. Me thinks point, set, match!! NFL must include replay, refs are at a disadvantage. We view on tv from 3 different angles and slow motion. They need help from the booth.....I see the casino's are refunding bets on this game. Ok, I'm done ….lets talk Xavier hoops!!! Thanks for allowing me to vent. By the way they honored a few of the Saints alum before kickoff and my brother for you young guys ( Xavier 1967) was one of them!!
FYI Michael Thomas former Buckeye led the league in receiving this season . He is the first Saint to do so since my brother in 1969!! Hard to believe with Brees throwing all those passes in the last 10 years!!!

Saints absolutely got robbed but not a Peyton fan. I do like Breese, Thomas, Kamara, and most of the team. tough way to lose. I still get ticked that Oden didn't get a T when he pushed Cage. That would have put X in S-16 so I feel your pain
