Perhaps, the classiest guy ever to wear the Jersey. His smile and genuine love for the game and Xavier University were a joy to watch. A far cry from some of the prima dona college basketball players that we see in the One and Done era!!

Romain is truly one of the Xavier greats both on the court and off. That was a fun run to the elite 8 and should have gone much further if not for some questionable officiating. Both Duke and X played poorly that game so any number of players for either team could have stepped up to make the outcome different, except of course the player the officials removed from the game. St Joe had an amazing year and it could have easily been X vs. St Joe in the championship.

Hopefully Sato gets a couple more years of basketball before moving on to other adventures.
