Musketeer Madness

The very few teams that have been able to recruit multiple (3 or more) one and dones, have done very well. Both the Kentucky and Duke teams that won the championship with a one and done player, had multiple players of that type. However, those are the only NCAA champions from 2006-2017 that have had ANY one and done players. The vast majority of one and done players have never even made it to a final 4. Kentucky and Duke seem to be the only teams that can get multiple one and done players almost every year. It’s like in the NBA where the “super” teams that seem to have 3 superstar players are constantly winning division and league championships. It’s not that the players are one and done that makes the teams so good. It’s that THOSE one and done players are GOOD, and that they thus have SEVERAL GOOD players all playing together. It’s a tribute to the coaches involved that they are able to get the young players all playing together.
