Inverse One and Done
UK gets a lot of heat for freshman one and done - we have become the inverse of the one and done with with the likes of Bernard, Gaston, Kanter, and the lot of gents that just signed - wondering how the fan base for the teams losing these guys feels right about now - is it fair to compare freshman one and done to grad transfer one and done?

Re: Inverse One and Done
We are playing the system as it is set up, just as the UKs of the world are doing the freshmen one and done. I am sure the schools losing the grad transfers are not happy, but it is set up to help the transfers and has played out to help the bigger conferences, probably inadvertently, but it’s the way it is.

Well, if you want to compare players who go to college for one year and leave with those who have graduated and customarily have one year of remaining eligibility, it might be. Otherwise, no. The former have no real intent to use the educational opportunities being provided. Conversely, the latter are maximizing the educational opportunities available.jerry92 wrote: ↑Thu Apr 12, 2018 8:40 pmUK gets a lot of heat for freshman one and done - we have become the inverse of the one and done with with the likes of Bernard, Gaston, Kanter, and the lot of gents that just signed - wondering how the fan base for the teams losing these guys feels right about now - is it fair to compare freshman one and done to grad transfer one and done?
