Hi all!
I am brand new to Xavier (just converted over from a certain team in the bluegrass state

). So, other than the fact that Xavier has an outstanding tradition in basketball, and one the best graduation rates in the country- What else do I need to know to be a fan??!! Help me out guys and gals!
Thanks!!

the year you were born? Not old as a number of us. A few of us graduated around that time.

So what bluegrass team have you given up on and what brings you to like X, now that nearly all our coaching staff has gone to a certain team in the bluegrass state? What you need to know is XU will survive. May have a down year or two, may not, but will be competitive in the Big East if current players stay with the program. We've gone thru coaches every few years since the 80s and have progressed each time. This will be no different.

I became disillusioned with UK a couple years ago, you can probably guess why. I wanted a school that was not just about athletics, but also has a good grad rate, X has both. Also want something close enough that I can go to a game or two. Always liked Xavier, now I'm hooked! Can't wait to go to a game next season.

Xavier has three studs in Q, Scruggs and Marshall to build on with an unknown but supposed talent in Harden. We will have a Senior in Gates who has been on and off but brings some talent. Like has been said X will be fine. We lost coaches in the past and still took steps forward. I think the only thing that gets fans is that Mack was a hometown boy and when he came said this was his dream job...so much for dreams.

Money talks, brother. And Louisville has plenty of it. I have to honest though, I haven't been excited about basketball for a long time. Coach or no coach, I love what I've seen and read about Xavier and I am excited and proud to be a fan! Already bought a hat lol
