Great Location, But the Floor at Bridgestone is a Concern

Postby XU80 » Sat Mar 17, 2018 8:59 am

Nashville is a great city for the NCAA but the floor at Bridgestone is a concern. In the Florida St game, one of the starters slipped and appeared to have an injury that may rule him out for Sunday. In speaking with the locals this has been a concern with this arena and laying the Hardwood over the hockey ice. I just hope we don't end up with one of our guys getting hurt and affecting our chances going forward.

I’m also concerned about this. There were some stoppages in yesterday’s “longest tournament game ever” just to wipe the floors. I will say that they do keep the Arena pretty cool which does compensate somewhat. Even up highest part of the nosebleed section it was cool last evening. Sunday is going to be even a little warmer than Friday was, so it will be interesting to see how the outside temps effect the inside of the arena.

By the way folks.....going to be 75 and mostly sunny today in the Nashville area today! It’s Spring down here! :D
