These Committees are always in love with the ACC, dont count Duke out yet.

ESPN always has a woody for the ACC
I don't think the Selection Committee does as much
Right now UNC is the top 2 seed, followed by Duke
UC is the lowest 2 and in UVA's bracket but could move up a slot with a W today
X is 15-5 in Quad 1 and Quad 2 while Duke is 13-7
No way Duke gets a 1 seed over X at this point.
Now if Duke had beat UNC on Friday, maybe
Or if UNC had beat UVA last night, they could have possibly jump to a 1

I don't think UC has a chance to move up, b/c their SOS is near 80. They're a very good team but have a pretty glaring deficiency in offensive consistency (though they're better than any other year in MC's history, which is a pretty low bar). Their tremendous defense & rebounding fuels their scoring opportunities.
Similarly, X's Achille's Heel always has been defense in CM's tenure, and this year is no exception. However, CM's greatest strengths are his offensive sets and strategy, and few teams can score like X.
Joe Lunardi said a win today will have no effect on UC's overall place (lowest 2nd seed), but a loss along with a Tenn win will drop them to the 3rd seed line, FWIW. One slot wouldn't bother me at all, but the destination is the bigger consideration. I'd rather be a 2 seed in the MW or South, than 1 out West. Though most are most afraid of AZ in that region, Gonzaga concerns me more. Regardless, X is a one seed for a reason. If X commits to better defensive execution, especially in transition, and becomes more disciplined on offense (instead of chucking up long jumpers 12 seconds into the shot clock, especially with big leads), they can play with anyone. Thankfully, we won't have the possibility to see Nova until the FF.
