This morning I was listening to The First Team on ESPNU radio, and dam if Taylor Zarzor and his partner weren't picking the national POY, and I tuned in just as TZ picked Bagley of Duke as his 2nd choice (they were doing a top-5 bit). And then for Number 1 he picked Trevon!!
The other guy was "not so much" and didn't have him in his top-5. But it was pretty cool hearing TZ talk about how clutch TB is, and how he is a marked man by the defense but almost always comes thru. He did mention the GT game as an exception. My new favorite analyst, or whatever he is!

Re: TB= POY
Heard that live as well SC and was very pleased to hear. ESPNU by the way, easily found on Syrius Channel 84, is damn good this time of year. Tre won't win POY, as most of the folks on a national scale are blinded by the stars from bigger programs will sway the decision, but nice to see some purists like Zaror rave about Bluiett. Taylor is right, Tre can take over at any time and few players can go on a point spree like he can at the critical point of a big game. The fact that he laid a few eggs this yr, especially versus G-town, will keep Tre off the final top three, who cares!! Just to be in the conversation is an awesome testament to Trevon. He is certainly Numero Uno around here...
