UVA lost at home to a sub 50 team.
Nova lost at home to the last place team in the league, who was sub 100 until winning the last three.
Purdue lost two in a row.
We beat two borderline top 25 RPI teams on the road in historically difficult gyms. Creighton was undefeated at home this season and Butler had taken down #1 at home.

What should the rankings be if voters are unbiased and consistent? 1) MSU, 2) X, 3) Nova, 4) UC, 5) UVA.

What will it likely be? 1) MSU, 2) Nova, 3) X, 4) UVA, 5) UC

the fact that we beat CU on a controversial foul call won't vault us to #2, where we should be.

somehow we will end up #3.

we should be #2, though, IMHO.

Would agree that the your first list is what it should be based on last week's games since that is what the tendency seems to be with the voters - whoever has a good week moves up and whoever doesn't moves down
But think for some voters it will be difficult to have a couple of 3 loss teams jump over a couple of 2 loss teams
Guess we will find out in a few hours.
In the end, the voters are just sports writers, not rocket scientists.
All this is nice but the poll that is most important is the one on April 2nd

Most pollsters will not go against the NCAA committee. (Xavier will be third.)

I think X should have been a #2 because of the win losses of the last week. They are quicker to drop us then to raise us and it proves it with the two polls. I also don't care in the long run as long as X can get a #1 seed in the mid-west and hang a banner as the NC in the end.

One seed would be awesome but would trade it in a heart beat for a guaranteed NC banner

I’ve been following so long would be satisfied with a final 4. Since we have never been there before.
