Mack to...
First mention of the year. Gus Johnson in the first half of the Nova game says “word is that Louisville wants Mack”. To his credit Raftery says to Mack, “Don’t go”.

Since you brought it up, someone in the know said talks have begun, even if just preliminary, and Mack is just waiting to see what the sanctions are. Other piece is Sedler family supposedly asked CM to make a public statement saying he wouldn't leave, and he refused. Who could blame him?olsingledigit wrote: ↑Wed Jan 10, 2018 9:00 pmFirst mention of the year. Gus Johnson in the first half of the Nova game says “word is that Louisville wants Mack”. IMO, Mack will be offered the job. His decision to accept or turn down.Anti-Homer wrote: ↑Wed Jan 10, 2018 9:03 pmSince you brought it up, someone in the know said talks have begun, even if just preliminary, and Mack is just waiting to see what the sanctions are. Unless U of L gets the "death penalty" which they won't, he takes it.
But I don't know anymore than any other average Joe on this.
All speculation at this point.

Hope he goes. He is a great recruiter but not a great coach.

Re: Mack to...
Mack will go if offered. Just look at how rough of a recruiting year he had this past year losing out on every top kid he offered.
That would never happen at Louisville. Recruiting would be way easier, and for a coach, that is a lot less stressful.

I do think part of the reason X lost out was coaches likely saying Mack is going to be gone. If he doesn't accept Louisville (if offered) recruiting will come back
