It's tough to win in Tucson. Zona is a good squad and the crowd really pumps it! Keep watching this team, they will make a loud noise come March.

I used to thank Sean, but some of his recent comments have soured me on him. No idea WTF he was thinking in his most recent slight of our program. Idiotic IMHO

Nova and ASU might still be ranked ahead of us. All of us have one loss, ASU beat us, and Nova lost a true road game in the league. We'll see tomorrow.

Yeah tough to argue either way. One cool thing though, as we ring in the new year XAVIER HAS THE MOST WINS of any team in the country.

14 wins on 12/31, it has to be the first time we've been able to say that we have the most wins this far into the season.

In an interview this fall he said that, every 15 minutes, he thinks of playing in the Final Four, and that that''s why he left Xavier for Arizona.

What a bitter pill it will be for him when he sees Xavier make the Final Four before Arizona.

No Thanks from me for Sean. Never have rooted for him since he left X. Would have liked Arizona St to win so we might have said our only loss was to the #1 team in the country.

This cannot actually be legitimate umbrage. This is a guy who has been a loyal, supporter of X since his departure, but admitted he left X b/c he thought he had a greater chance to win a NC, at a place which has been to several F-4s and won 1 or 2 NCs, and our feelings are hurt? Despite the latter, and having his pay tripled, it still was a very hard decision, as he initially turned them down.

I think he would have probably stayed if X offered a legitimate counteroffer (even though it could still never approach what AZ could pay), and if X was in the BE. The bloom fell off the rose for me with SM with the whole Book R scandal. He is and should be presumed innocent until proven otherwise, but I have my own suspicions. However, it didn't change what he accomplished at X, and the fact that he is still a mentor and huge supporter of CM.

I wonder how those outraged would feel if CM left for Tenn after his 1st year, which was allegedly going to happen if Tenn didn't have looming sanctions, or left for CA, which was a done deal until his wife vetoed it. I'm sure some would come up with clever juvenile nicknames that would make my 6-year-old nephew giggle. I know what I'd do: Cheer on his new team for his efforts at X.

Can someone please post the link to the real reason we won't allow Sean to play in our sandbox anymore? You know, the one where he was caught on hidden camera plotting to contaminate the water supply at X.
