Kanter's brother indicted by Turkey

Karem's brother; Enes Kanter (NBA star) was indicted by a prosecutor in Turkey and could be jailed for up to four years for political statements against Turkey's President Erdogan if extradited (which won' happen). America has stated that such political indictments will not result in extradition of political protestors that are in the USA! However, travel in Europe or returning to Turkey will be risky.
Sad state of affairs and sorry for the trouble for Karem's family. Erdogan is considered by many to be a tyrant and is persecuting many within Turkey.

Very insightful. So to be clear, If I ever chronically criticize a tyrannical dictator, your advice is to not go to that country? I've been trolling that guy in North Korea for years, and was going to vacation there over the holiday, but am not changing my plans due to your wisdom. Many thanks.
