2018 recruiting

Alright Muskie faithful! I read all the posts and try to stay up to date on all of our recruits, but it appears there are still some big 2018 names still out there.

Anyone got the scoop on anyone out there???

Xavier seems to be still in on a few 2018 HS graduates, but has also moved focus to JUCO possibilities for next years roster. JUCO recruiting has reported them having made offers to a 6-11 center and a 6-6 forward recently.

I read in one game report posted to Cincinnati.Com that there were upwards of 15 recruits at the Shootout. However that report didn’t go into specifics as to who they were, or what years they were.

I have read reports this the “big man” crop for 2018 is as poor a crop as has been seen in many years, so based on those reports I’m not as concerned about Xavier not landing any “name” big man recruit. However, they are listed as still being actively recruiting a young man from Middletown, Oh. Don’t know if that is true still. They have made several offers to players in the 2019 and even the 2020 and 2021 classes, according to the 24/7 an Verbal Commits Sites.

I’m sure that there is a good possibility that a grad transfer is also goi g to part of the equation, as that seems to be an every year thing anymore.

I hesitate to put up any names, but you can read them for yourself on various websites that are free to read.

I subscribe to Scout and there is no mention of JUCOs. Who are these kids? I can't imagine them not including them in the prospect base unless they are really recent like in the last week.

Google JUCO basketball recruiting and you’ll find some sites

Go to www.verbalcommits.com and follow the links to Xavier.....you will see a whole hosts of names that Xavier is recruiting.....most are HS students of different classes, some are JUCO players.
