We took the plunge and cut the cord but now I am not sure of the best way to watch XU games in GA. How do other out of towners watch the game without cable?

Hulu Live or Sling TV may be options for you. There are some other, more comprehensive sports streaming services, but they aren't cheap

I have Playstation Vue. $40/month. 50+ Channels such as Fox Sports, FS1, FS2, ESPN, ESPN2. Youtube TV I heard was decent too. DIdn't like streaming quality of Sling. PSVue is excellent and can stream up to 5 devices at the same time.

DIRECTV Now always has good specials and you get every channel you want. I have used all services and it is the best hands down.

You could try
www.vipbox.nu.
I've used it for about 6 months for various sports and haven't had any issues. NFL games have been in HD too. There are a couple pop-ups when the video starts, but they disappear when you click the tiny 'x'.

Well I’ve tried Hulu plus and Sling and neither will work ): since I live in GA, Fox Sports Ohio isn’t considered regional. Any other ideas?

But most, if not all, of the remaining games on Fox is either Fox Sports 1 or Fox National.
Both of which you should get in GA.
I'm in the same boat.
I'm tied of protracted and painful negotiations with Cinti Bell.
I looked briefly at Sling TV but I didn't think that they had Fox Sports 1 in their line up.
I can get Fox National on my antenna.

What is Fox National? It looks like Fox 1 is part of HULU plus. It also has CBS sports so that should cover most of the games. Thanks so much for your help!

Fox National would be your local Fox station
In Cincy it is WXIX.
It's the local station that broadcasts the NFL games
A basic antenna would get that station, assuming you are in a metro area
