More correctly, Gladdenguy posted this; "Possibly torn rotator cuff? Please no", as a question.

Re: Is Treyvon Hurt
So happy to hear he should be okay.
I have ZERO inside info on his injury but in terms of the medical/athletic training side of things it's an interesting injury.
The fact the rumors said "rotator cuff" likely means more of a strain/tendinitis. It's damn near impossible for an athlete his age to completely tear his RC (that's reserved for old folks like us who post here). It's especially unlikely considering the rumor that this was "non-contact."
A strain or tendinitis can easily be rehabbed and responds well to cortisone/anti inflammatories.
The other thing would be a partial tear. This is something he could likely rehab and finish the season with as well. May or may not require surgery. May take 4-6 weeks until he's "normal" though if it occurred acutely.
Assuming the rumor was correct and it's some sort of cuff issue, I'd guess this will be a bit of a lingering thing that can be managed through the year and he'll be the tre we know and love.

Agreed, and I hope its just inflammation. This may be a partial tear that he wants to play with. Would hurt his draft stock to go under he knife now. NBA scouts may see this on the medical eval though.lionelchalmers0 wrote: ↑Sun Oct 29, 2017 3:48 pmSo happy to hear he should be okay.

Re: Is Treyvon Hurt
to add Shannon said Trevon Bluiett injured his shoulder Friday at practice. The good news is that the injury is NOT severe. While he will sit out today's closed scrimmage against Ohio State, he probably won't miss any games. I can't speak for next Saturday's exhibition against Thomas More - but it's not like Xavier needs him for that. That's the latest on Tre. Not great news, but not the worst
I asked a ref if he could give me a technical foul for thinking bad things about him. He said, of course not. I said, well, I think you stink. And he gave me a technical. You can't trust em.
