Being a Senior in college basketball may not be worth much to the NBA. This year not one in the Mock Draft for the NBA is a senior....most are under classmen or International players. Only 11 seniors are projected to be drafted by the NBA this year and all of them are in the second round. If one can be drafted in the first round, then it is time to leave for the NBA and that is usually before one is a senior.

That Senior year may be the reason there are 11 projected seniors in the 2nd round. If they hadn't stayed, these are the prospects who wouldn't
get drafted at all.

The senior season is completely irrelevant. All the Josh Hart hype out the window. He's still at the end of the 1st, or the 2nd where he likely would have been last year. The scouts know the best talent, and the seniors are what's left for round 2. You either leave anymore early, or you stay till the end. The seniors are the enders by default.

There were 5 or 6 taken in the first round last year. If I remmebwr correctly 1/3rd of the first round were international players too.

International players should be banned, unless they're from Saudi Arabia!

Josh went #30 in the first round to the Lakers.

Staying for the senior season is worth a college degree and a decent future for the majority of these players that aren't successful in making basketball a career so you can't say it isn't worth much.

True, staying for a college degree is good to great, because most college athletes will never play an hour or day of pro ball. And I said most, meaning like 95% plus of the college athletes . College football...over 50% of those never even achieve a college degree....basketball is a little higher but far from 100%.
