Miss. State Defeats UConn

Admittedly, I pay little attention to NCAA Womens' Basketball. However, a smile crossed my face upon learning that Mississippi State just defeated UConn in the Womens' Final Four.

Something tells me the 66-64 buzzer-beating overtime upset by the Bulldogs, snapping the 111 game win streak of the Huskies, is good for the game.

Last year UConn pasted Miss.State by 60, 98-38, in the Sweet Sixteen.

Classic game. IN OT Uconn's legs were gone. Many looks, all misses. They never got it through their heads that Miss. was coached to intercept ALL passes. Gino smiling at the end.

Great pre-game pep talk by Miss St coach.
Miss St jumped out to an early and sucked me into watching the entire game and what a game it was.
Smallest girl on the court hits the game winner.
Great game.
So impressed with Geno's grace after the game.
Class act, IMO.

Georgetown should hire Geno as it's coach. I think he's bored where he is now.

Maybe that's the "white whale" that GT fans have been referring to.
That would be cool but doubt that would happen.
