wednesday Kelsey took the UMass job and Thursday he turned it down...what the heck????

A source told Jeff Goodman that Coach Kelsey did not believe UMass was "the right place for him."

Not much of a move up .Maybe he knows a certain job might open up that he wants. Now that's verrrry interesting

Not a lawyer and assume if a memo of understanding is binding, it will be negotiated to a lesser amount.

As a Elder Grad...and as an XU Grad.... I do NOT know Pat Kelsey at all.

However, he doesn't seem to be helping himself for a big time coaching position in the future.
He left XU abruptly to stop coaching for a year (or more?)
now he accepted a new job and backed out....

As both Mman and Hops would agree I believe, he left for veeeeeeeeery legitimate reasons. I don't know who would have tolerated what happened. i'd leave it at that.

Speculation is Georgetown. This would be sketchy if that were the case. I thought Cronin was bad for using UNLV. Hope that isn't the case. Definitely wouldn't want him at X

It has to be somewhere else. No way I could support him at X if he pulls this move when we're hours away from a sweet 16 game.
