NCAA Tournament 2017 Rd of 32 - FSU Game Thread 3-18

[mumuskie87]

20 minutes to game time.

Let's Go X!!

[mumuskie87]

JP missed a couple of shots early.
Great look by SOM and back by JP.
X in a zone and right now FSU is 1-5 from 3.
Bacon is quite a good player.

[mumuskie87]

Q calls bank

[mumuskie87]

Too much dribbling.

SOM continues to knock down FT's

[mumuskie87]

X doing a good job on the defensive boards.

[Anti-Homer]

They need to keep feeding SOM. Playing very well yet again.

[mumuskie87]

Up 20 to 10.
Concern that they have 6 fouls with with 10 left in the 1H.
Don't have the depth that FSU has.

[mumuskie87]

But no one with 2 fouls at this point

[mumuskie87]

X playing well against man with some nice back cuts and screens down low.
Good switch by Hamilton to a zone.
X gonna to need to knock some 3's.

[Anti-Homer]

Game is far from over, but I'm grateful the coach on the other side line has the last name of Hamilton and not Bennet. X has 1 true pg, and FSU goes 10-11 deep, and they are letting X control tempo. I'd pressure them 94 feet and speed up the game. FSU is also settling for outside jumpers, and X is holding their own on the boards.

SOM needs to keep getting the ball.
