I'm not sure i'd get to cocky, Ucf beat Colorado a team we lost to. That said Akron is not a bad team. Saw them play once this year up there.

I won't get into the massive choke job Providence laid down against Usc. That's a loss you do not soon forget. They quit on the defensive end.

THIS kind of stuff is garbage. Is what caused this board to lose credibility and relevance. It wasn't too long ago that Xavier played in the A-10, Horizon League and even the MCC. Xavier fans constantly attempted to qualify those leagues. Get my gist? Last night Providence lost to Southern Cal by losing a 17 point lead and XU lost to the Friars three weeks ago. I guess the Big East is a joke league? You just got to play the hand you're dealt. Just let it go, man.

Lots of 'upsets' in the NIT. Don't think teams have as much enthusiasm playing in that tourney. As for Providence, we've seen that ourselves this season with a few X collapses in the 2nd half. Just shows you have to bring it for 40 minutes, not just 20.

Oh no, the PC Police just showed up on this board where certain people believe everyone should get a trophy, etc...

News Flash, Xavier never played in the Horizon League. Remember teams like UC and Dayton did everything they could to keep Xavier out of the Great Midwest. OK, so Providence losing last night to a good PAC 12 team is just like Houston losing to Akron, are you serious. Go troll somewhere else or get a better position. AAC is a bad league right now just ask UC, UConn and Houston fans. Sorry if garbage was offensive.

You probably also do not know that Akron would give us all we could handle in large part due to two Cincy big kids who start for them. Isaiah Johnson from Walnut Hills(X offered him) is a load inside and their leading scorer, 6'10 and up near 300lbs. He is a beast. 4 year player who is their leading scorer. Shot over 60% from the field and over 250 ft's this year. Wish we would have gotten him. The other kid is from Winton Woods and also starts at 6 10. They are coached by Lebron's old hs coach Dambrot.
