BE in the NCAA Tournament

Postby mumuskie87 » Wed Mar 15, 2017 8:57 pm

7 BE Teams in The Dance 70% of the teams in the conference.
Best % in all of the Power Conferences.
Leading off tonight is PC vs. USC.
Andy Enfield was the darling coach (along with his smokin' hot wife - Amanda Marcum) a few years back with Florida Gulf Coast but got to root for Easy Ed Cooley - a very underrated coach, IMO.

Agreed. BE needs to make some noise this year. Can't rely on just Nova again.

Just watched the 1H.
PC look unbeatable in 1H.
Made 8 3's in 1H but only 1 in the 2H.

Not a good start for the BE.
I think it is all a fix...NCAA wants the "eye candy" that USC cheerleaders bring to the TV viewing audience.

Butler cruises to a W.
So far no upsets in the afternoon games.
That bodes well for the evening game's higher seeds.

Good day for the BE - 3 W's

CU has a tough game against URI.

The Marquette-South Carolina game might be the most interesting game in the 1st round.
MU leads the nation in 3 pt shooting % - 43% while SC has the 5th best 3 pt shooting defense shooting % - 29.5%.
Something has got to give tomorrow.

BE flaming out today.
Seton Hall goes down to Arkansas and URI knocks off Creighton - only the 3rd higher seed so far in the tourney.
Up to Marquette to try to salvage the day.

Watched both games and SH and Cu did not look like the teams they were in the BE and their coaches could not find a solution Patton looked lost and fouled out on 3 of the dumbest fouls
I asked a ref if he could give me a technical foul for thinking bad things about him. He said, of course not. I said, well, I think you stink. And he gave me a technical. You can't trust em.

Danny Hurley continues to improve his coaching stock.
Now just have to root for those other Kansas teams to win - Wichita St and Kansas St.
